Position Overview
The Solar Developer Project Manager provides continuity and oversight for solar projects, ensuring efficient execution from origination through NTP or project sale. This role is the central coordinator between internal and external subject matter experts, aligning project plans, de-risking development, and driving projects to NTP on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate excels in project management, coordination, and problem-solving to streamline development processes and accelerate project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination: Oversee and manage a portfolio of solar projects, ensuring each moves efficiently through development milestones.
- Process Optimization: Expedite projects by proactively identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring readiness for NTP or sale.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the central point of coordination between internal teams and external consultants, maintaining project alignment.
- Tracking & Reporting:
- Create and maintain a Project Smartsheet (or equivalent) to track project deliverables, facilitating due diligence for financing or sale.
- Responsible for KPIs such as project speed, adherence to NTP schedules, budget compliance, and risk identification.
- Budget & Project Timeline Management: Create, forecast, and manage pre-development budgets and project timeline to ensure cost control and accurate pipeline management
- Regulatory & Compliance Support: Assist in navigating permitting requirements and coordinating with local AHJs and government agencies.
- EPC Preparation & Coordination: Ensure seamless handoff to the EPC team by organizing pre-construction requirements, aligning project details, and addressing potential roadblocks before NTP.
- As-Built Documentation: Support the delivery of ALTA surveys and other as-built documentation upon project completion.
- Task Prioritization: Identify and delegate tasks for adjacent team members, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Project Management Expertise: Strong ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and drive progress efficiently.
- Project Management Experience: 3-5 years project management experience, in field of renewables strongly preferred
- Organizational & Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams, internally and externally.
- Development Familiarity: Some knowledge of renewable energy development, permitting processes, and regulatory coordination.

Manage all aspects of projects for Norwich Solar. Coordinates work activities across multiple functions to ensure successful project delivery. Qualifications:

Job Summary: The detail-oriented Quality Assurance and Safety Inspector is responsible for overseeing that ground mount solar projects are built to Norwich’s and the owner’s standards. The role plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in the construction and installation of solar energy systems.
Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance:- Conduct comprehensive inspections at various stages of ground mount solar projects to ensure compliance with design specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to guarantee the reliability and longevity of solar installations.
- Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Develop and enforce safety protocols and guidelines for ground mount solar projects, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with project managers to address safety concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality and safety inspections, noting any deviations from standards.
- Completed OSHA 300/ 300A logs for RunTime Solar, Norwich Solar, Norwich EV, and Norwich Technologies.
- Generate comprehensive reports summarizing inspection findings, recommendations, and corrective actions taken.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience (5+ years) in electrical installation, quality assurance and safety inspection within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on solar projects.
- In-depth knowledge of solar project construction processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards, including NEC and OSHA regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey quality and safety requirements to diverse teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in using inspection tools, equipment, and software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Overnight travel is required as part of this position.

Senior Solar Designer
Position Overview:
The Senior Solar Designer will be responsible for the design and development of utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) generation systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing fixed tilt ground-mounted systems, including utility interconnection and the design of low and medium voltage electrical systems. The role requires familiarity with general construction standards, the utility interconnection process, the National Electric Code (NEC), and the overall solar design process. The Senior Solar Designer will also play a critical role in site layout development, preparing construction drawings, and managing subcontractor bid packages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Utility-Scale Solar PV Systems: Create detailed designs for utility-scale solar photovoltaic generation systems, focusing on fixed tilt ground-mounted configurations.
- Utility Interconnection Design: Design low and medium voltage electrical systems for utility interconnection, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
- Site Layout Development: Develop preliminary site layouts for project permitting, ensuring that all designs meet regulatory requirements.
- Prepare Construction Drawings: Create "Issued for Construction" (IFC) drawings for use in project execution, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
