The final push of December saw our Breakaway development and finance team create EPC's and MIPA's, for 6 year-end closes and a total of 14 projects to safe harbor, not to mention domestic content and many other year end deadlines.
The Norwich Solar EPC team was working on no fewer than 15 projects simultaneously with 5 that had year end placed-in-service deadlines. With great determination and agility they pushed these projects through in time!
We started our biggest EPC job in NH with Encore Renewables. The project in Warner NH will boast almost 5 MW AC and benefit the local communities directly through their community power program.
Norwich EV along with support from RunTime added 8 L3 and 12 L2 charging ports in public and commercial places in VT. They completed year-end deadline projects and negotiated deals for our next 12 EV chargers over 2 sites!
The RunTime O&M crew closed an average of 20 cases per month and is working to bring in new services including IV Curve Tracing and Aerial Thermography and other Drone Services.
The Norwich Technologies Admin team held everything together - tracking myriad outgoing invoices and incoming payments, processing vendor payments, accounting true ups, NetSuite changes and report repairs, net metering, and the list goes on and on.
And lastly our building assets in Montpelier got new roofs, new heat pumps, heating repairs, and of course new rooftop solar arrays!
Whew!
With more than a dozen projects safe-harbored and new opportunities coming in through our EPC channels, NT is ready for all that 2026 has to bring us!
Here’s a quick take at the good, the great and the OMG.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars… because our company culture is a priceless benefit for our staff. Good will, teamwork, and collective purpose make Norwich Technologies the great place it is.
⭐ One star... because zero stars wasn’t an option.
New challenges arose following President Trump's "Liberation Day" tariff announcements in April 2025 and the passage of the One Big Beautiful Big Act (OBBBA). The most concerning of which is the abrupt end to the Investment Tax Credit and revised FEOC rules, combined with delays & uncertainty surrounding REAP grants and the end of the Solar for All program. The additional changes to state Net Metering programs, and long interconnection queues made 2025 a memorable year. That's not to mention the delays and cancellations of the Federal NEVI charging program.
Despite the challenges NT had its Most Profitable year ever! Our revenues increased and with careful management of our operational costs we’re proving our intrepid model for success.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Four Stars! It took a lot of work to get here, a few things were left on the table for next year, but overall 2025 was a successful year!
We completed 12 solar projects (adding more than 12.5 MW AC of new solar power to the region), safe harbored 14 future projects, and just for good measure we installed 20+ new EV chargers.
The EPC team started our biggest EPC job in Warner, NH with Encore Renewables. The project will boast almost 5 MW AC and will benefit the local communities directly through the NH Community Power program.
