Mike Duplessis is our new IT guru with loads of experience in Netsuite and G Suite. We’re keeping him busy with our ongoing optimization of our processes and software stacks. Coincidently, he grew up in Montpelier and attended summer camp in the building where we now have office space!
Lou Minion is our new Controller. He spent the last several years working in the Solar Industry with SGC Power and Pivot Energy. An Engineer by education (he has an Applied Mathematics undergraduate degree and a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering), he started his love of Accounting over 15 years ago.
Henry Pentland joined our team as a new PV Engineer. He completed his capstone project at Vermont Technical College (now part of VT State University) where he focused on solar modeling, and will graduate in May 2025 with a BA in Renewable Energy. He has hands-on experience in a wide range of things including building energy audits and solar tracker installation and maintenance.
We are also pleased to welcome intern Hunter Taggart through our partnership with the Greenway Institute. He is a Biomedical Engineering student at Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania and joins Greenway Institute for a semester of hands-on learning. He’ll be getting a wide range of learning opportunities including: materials testing on the Durion project, assisting with solar prospecting in Maine, and EV charger installations at our Montpelier location.
